Walking through the ancient Chines in Dorset, and seeing the dappled sunlight falling thru the old pinetrees, is what inspired this painting. Seeds dropped by the birds flying over from Madeira hundreds of years ago is what created these dense and magical 'Chines' full of Pines and wild Rhododendrons.

Painted in oils on a quality box canvas, with painted sides and ready to hang. There no necessity to frame. Upon purchase the piece will be securely shipped in a custom made cardboard box and shipped free of cost within the UK. Reasonable shipping costs apply to Europe and USA.
