First light and the hungry seagulls are out hunting for lost bait or anything that moves. Searching the shore and the rock pools joyfully fearless on the deserted dawn beach.

Painted in oils on a deep sided box canvas, with painted sides avoiding the need to frame. The shoreland rocks are deeply textured with an impasto technique whilst the detailed birds and sky are rendered with smooth brush work.
